Well the first weekend of the track has come and gone and we are smack dab in the middle of it. The Division Social Hour was moved to the track on Friday night. The first of two twilight racing nights proved to be a fantastic spot for us to meet. The usual group of rascals met up by the Big Red Spring and we were under way. I have to add that I was on my best behavior when the two security guards approached and asked us to pack up and leave. I have never been kicked out of the track before and I can't recall any 
Hibernians being tossed from a Social Hour before. We looked around and saw that we were the last people at the track. So, we weren't really being kicked out it was just that the guards wanted to go home after a long days work. The social Hour continued at Chris Millis' favorite Italian bistro till the wee hours. If you are not attending the Social Hours then you are missing out on the camaraderie and friendship of your brother Hibernians. If you are staying away because you don't drink, that's no excuse. We would love to have another designated driver, but honestly all are welcome so that everyone can get to know each other outside of the meeting atmosphere.

The Commodore John Barry Division #1 AOH meeting will be held Thursday night at the K of C on Pine Rd. at 7pm.
Saturday's feature race will be 82 running of The Darley Test for 3-year-old Fillies $250,000 7 Furlongs Grade:I
Sunday will feature The Fourstardave Handicap, named after the Saratoga favorite. It is also tee shirt day so get there early and spin, spin, spin those turnstiles.
