We Were Mooned

What is it about the moon that drives people crazy? We've all heard that a full moon brings out all the nuts. Man has been singing about the moon forever, Blue moon, Fly Me to the Moon, Moondance, Moonlight Sonata, It's Only a Papermoon, Moonshadow just to name a few. Even after we walked on the moon we are still in awe of it, by the way I saw it on TV and was not impressed. We continue to use moon in our vocabulary, moonlighting, honeymoon, mooneyed and moonfaced. We eat moonpies and drink moonshine. The moon just can't be ignored. So with that all being said I hope everyone got a chance to see the moon this past weekend, it was amazing.
Moon river, wider than a mile I'm crossing you in style some day.
 Blue moon of Kentucky keep on shining
We get it almost every night
 And when that moon gets big and bright
 It's supernatural delight
We were sailing along on moonlight bay
